This is a plain-language summary written for transparency. It is not legal advice, and we are having it reviewed by counsel.
Information we collect
When you set an alert, request a lead, sign up, or contact us, we collect the details you submit: your work email, and — if you provide them — your name, brokerage, title, phone number, your message, and the alert criteria you choose (trigger types, industries, regions, and freight-spend thresholds). We do not currently use cookies or third-party analytics, and we do not track which leads you browse.
How we use it
To send the lead alerts you ask for, to fulfill and confirm lead requests, to set up your account, and to respond to you. New submissions are routed to our team so a person can follow up. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use your alert criteria to profile you or share your targeting with anyone.
Your shippers are yours
When you buy a lead, the shipper relationship is yours. We do not use the leads you purchase to contact or market to your shippers on our own behalf. More on how this works on our about page.
Lead data about companies
The shipper leads on LaneRadar describe companies and the people who buy freight for them, compiled from public-record and public-web sources (see our Terms). If you are named in our lead data and want it removed, email us and we will honor the request.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run LaneRadar — currently Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, hosted in the US), and Resend (email delivery) — under terms that require them to protect your information. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Retention
We keep account and alert data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. Copies sent by email or held in our providers' logs may persist for a limited period and are not always immediately retractable.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we will honor verified requests promptly.
Security
We protect your information with access controls, including row-level security on our database, and we run on managed platforms (Vercel, Supabase). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
